Are you going to resume operations?

While the future is hard to predict, there are no current plans to resume operations, and it is hard to see a situation where it would be economically viable.

Can I copy your design and make my own products for my own use and/or sell?

Yes. You can’t use the names like “MultiBoard” or represent your products as coming from “OIH Designs,” but I hold no patents and the window to pursue them has lapsed.

That said, I have significant doubts my products could be economically manufactured and sold. Quality is expensive, and there are a limited number of people willing or able to pay for it (I do appreciate the people who were and are willing).

Shipping Time?

When we are accepting orders they may take between a few days and a couple weeks. Polycarbonate options sometimes take slightly longer. Orders ship from Illinois.

Please feel free to contact us if the potential lead time leaves you nervous about having your order in time for a trip (or any other time sensitive reason). We can likely prioritized your order at no charge and/or provide a more specific handling time estimate.

Why isn’t your website more done / Why don’t you have better descriptions on some pages?

Websites are a lot of work. Starting and building a company is in general a lot of work. There are a lot of things to do. I’m trying not to let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Can I order replacement parts?

Yes. Thanks to the modular design of our products if you damage a part it can be replaced. Depending on the part there may or may not be a nominal cost. Please contact me for details or to order a replacement.

What is your warranty?

I stand behind the suitability of my products for their intended purpose. I believe Multi/Singleboards should last at least a year with normal usage. If you feel something doesn’t work like it should please contact me and describe the issue.

What is your return policy?

• New, unused products can be returned at buyer’s shipping expense for a full refund.

• I want you to be happy with our products. If you are unhappy with our products please reach out and tell me why so I can take your feedback into consideration for future product revisions.

• Used products can be returned for a partial refund based on condition. I may ask you send back everything but the main panels (therefore cutting down significantly on shipping cost), and provide evidence that the main panels were destroyed.
